Irish is out of Clovertrails fourth litter. Irish is a very active girl, with loads of positive energy. She just loves live and having fun. She has already succesfully been bloodtracking and passed her test at the age of only 10 months. Irish is a very nice dog to work with easy going despite, or maybe because, of her never-ending-energylevel, she never looses her focus. Beside brains, she also has beauty, Irish is getting very nice results in the showring. Our sweet Irish died right before giving birth to her first litter, probably caused by a condition called Canine Maternal Hydrops. With her, her 7 pups died too. Irish was a very special dog and she will forever leave a empty space in our hearts. Goodbyes hurt the most when the story wasn't finished...... Read more about Canine Maternal Hydrops here: http://www.caninepregnancyscanning.com/hydrops.html?fbclid=IwAR23rPkWKZEGHdOG3x3my0_nTRaKe-z_oBCWYfvjcbD2C65q6GEan-RJulo This is a very rare condition, mostly seen in Golden Retrievers and very little is known about it. If I had known this before, I would have taken Irish much, much earlier to the vet. Irish had most of the symptoms: rock hard, very large stomach, swollen vulva, blurred X-ray, severe vomiting and delivery that did not start. I do not share this information to scare people, but hopefully can save a bitch and / or puppies lives. Perhaps in this way the death of the Irish can lead to something positive. Spreading knowledge can save a next bitch. (And for us, it's a way to heal the wound this nightmare has left.) *We will tell your story and keep you alive* R:I:P Irish SE UCH Clovertrails A Girls Best Friend |
