Buying a Clovertrails-puppy

Our puppies are born in a home environment. Mother and puppies will, for the first few weeks, have a room for themselves for peace and quiet, before they move out into the heart of the house; our livingroom/kitchen. There they will be part of our family and  get accustomed to visitors, children, other dogs in the house, sounds, etc., untill it is time for them to start their own live.
Our puppies are used in being handled, having their nails clipped, are house trained, travel by car, having a collar on, meet people, children, cats and other  animals like horses and chickens and different environments.
We also offer advice and support throughout the dog's life.

Our puppies are at least 8 weeks at delivery and all puppies are delivered according to Kennel Club rules, which means that they are vaccinated, dewormed, vet inspected, ID-marked and registered in the Swedish Kennel Club.
A puppy from us comes with a insurance against hidden defects for three years and a 1 year membership in the Swedish Welsh Corgiclub (SWCK)

With your puppy you will also get a book with tips and advice on how best to care for your new family member and food (which lasts a few days after you have
received your puppy) and a goodie-bag with things like a toy, chewing bone etc.  You will also get an collar and a blanket that smells like mom.

Things you should consider before buying a dog / puppy:
- Is there a risk of allergy in the family?
- How do you live, out on the country site, or in the city?
- Is there someone home during the day or has the puppy / dog to be alone
and if so, for how long?
- Do you have someone who can take care of your dog if needed?
- You may experience sudden expenses if the dog gets sick or injured. Of course, you
have the dog insured, but it can still be high costs for medicine.

As a breeder we set demands on ourselves as a breeder, choosing as healthy and pleasant individuals as possible, but in return we also set demands on those who want to buy a puppy from us. Buying a puppy is not a decision you take overnight. A puppy is a new member of the family that will live with you for many years, and you should be prepared to offer the best possible and be prepared that it costs both time and money, to have a dog.

We do not sell puppies by email, facebook, internet or phone,  but like to meet you before taking any decision and at least once before you come to pick up the puppy. We feel it is important to establish a good contact before the puppy is sold.
We do not have a so called "queuing system" ; we sell our puppies to those that we consider the most appropriate family.
We choose which puppy is becoming yours; as we spent many hours a day with them and know their personalities the best. With that in mind we take in consideration what you can offer and what you are looking for in a dog and your future plans. Of course you can point out your favorite in the litter.
Since we spend a lot of time on the puppies' socialization during their time with us, we also get to know them very well. Therefore, we try - to the best of our ability - to match each puppy (from a temperament and personality point of view) with suitable owners / families. With us you do not have to choose a puppy yourself, but we do it together to get the best match based on past experience, family situation, age, own wishes and possible competition goals. Which puppy becomes yours is determined at the earliest at the age of 6 weeks.

It is important for us as a breeder that you can offer your puppy a lifelong loving home without too much alone-time. You may be interested in competing with your dog or in dogshows or breeding, but the most important thing is that you understand that a Cardigan requires activity and mental stimulation to feel good. It is not a pure companion dog.

If you are interested in buying a puppy from us, we first want to get to know you. The first contact is usually made by mail; write  about yourself, previous dog experience, if you prefer a male or a female and what kind of life you can offer your dog. We do not sell puppies without first getting to know you.
